How do I change my "default" mail account in Outlook Express? Print

If you have added a new mail account for your hosting email, it may have not been set to default so you will still be sending with your other account. To change the default mail account in Outlook Express, see the short video below. 

Right Click and choose "Save Target As..."

For those with low speed internet, you can follow these steps:

1. Click on the "Tools" menu and then select "Accounts.."
2. Click on the "Mail" tab to show your mail accounts.
3. Highlight the mail account that you want to make the default.
4. Click one "Make Default" on the right and make sure it shows default next the account now.
5. Close the open windows to save your settings.

You are all done. You can send an email to yourself to see what it will look like to other people.
